Nine is the magic number in Baccarat. There are only three possible bets in the game of Baccarat. A better can play for the bank win or the player to win or the hands to tie. Both the player hand and the dealer hand are played to get as close to nine as possible and the one that does wins. If the hands tie the bets on the bank and the player are pushed. If the tie bet were bet the better would get a win of 8 to one on the bet. A winning bank hand pays two to one with a commission of 5% of the bet amount. A winning player hand pays two to one with no commission.
When a natural eight or nine is dealt to either hand, the play stops and the winning hand is paid. If a tie happens the tie bet is paid and the other two bets are pushed. The game of Baccarat has a very low house edge.
